Ku-band Frequency Transceivers – High-Performance RF Units for Satellite Uplink & Downlink by UMT LLC

UMT LLC’s Ku-band transceivers are advanced RF communication devices designed for reliable satellite uplink and downlink in the Ku-band frequency range (10.7–14.5 GHz). These high-stability, low-phase-noise RF transceivers combine upconverter and downconverter functionality in a compact unit, making them ideal for VSAT systems, teleports, broadcasting hubs, and mobile satellite stations. Featuring PLL local oscillators, 50/75 Ohm I/O, and N- or SMA-type connectors, they ensure seamless integration and precise frequency conversion.

BUC-Ku02-9.75 v2.0 is block up-converter with fixed output power P1dB 2 W (ALC power: 200 mW) and LO of 9.75 GHz.

Our BUC operates with up to 25 carriers and has built-in reference of 10 MHz;

and ALC with 25 dB range;

Ku-band Frequency Transceiver – High-Stability RF Converter for Satellite Uplink and Downlink by UMT LLC

The Ku-band Frequency Transceiver by UMT LLC is a high-performance, dual-function RF unit that integrates both upconversion (Tx) and downconversion (Rx) into a single compact device. Designed for professional satellite communication systems, the transceiver ensures efficient and accurate signal transmission and reception within the Ku-band frequency spectrum. It is optimized for VSAT networks, broadcasting headends, mobile satellite terminals, and teleport infrastructure.

📡 Operating Frequency Ranges:

  • Receive (Rx) Frequency Range: 10.95 – 12.15 GHz

  • Transmit (Tx) Frequency Range: 13.75 – 14.50 GHz

  • Output Power at 1 dB Compression (P1dB): ≥ [Insert value] W

These ranges are fully compliant with ITU satellite frequency allocations and ideal for two-way Ku-band satellite links in DVB-S/S2 and IP-based systems.

🔧 Technical Highlights:

  • RF Architecture: Integrated Upconverter + Downconverter

  • Local Oscillator: High-stability PLL-based synthesis

  • Phase Noise: Ultra-low for clean modulation

  • Gain: High conversion gain with flat frequency response

  • Connectors: SMA or N-type (50 or 75 Ohm, customizable)

  • Power Supply: 24 VDC or 220 VAC (optional adapter)

  • Cooling: Passive heatsink or active cooling (model-dependent)

  • Remote Monitoring: Optional Ethernet or RS-485 interface

Key Benefits:

  • Full-duplex operation in standard Ku-band frequency ranges

  • High output power with excellent linearity and low intermodulation

  • Precise frequency stability for digital modulations (DVB-S2, QPSK, 8PSK)

  • Compact, durable housing for rack or outdoor integration

  • Compatible with UMT BUCs, LNBs, modulators, and IP networks

  • Ideal for fixed, transportable, and mobile satellite stations
