DVB-T2 / UHF BROADCASTING

DVB-T2 broadcasting is dedicated especially for a reliable, sustainable and high-quality terrestrial broadcasting in hard conditions such as multi-storey buildings, trees, no direct signal path etc. An operator can broadcast H.264 / H.265 SD and HD TV channels

DVB-T2 broadcasting is dedicated especially for a reliable, sustainable and high-quality terrestrial broadcasting in hard conditions like multi-story buildings, trees, no direct signal path etc. An operator can broadcast SD and HD TV channels in h.264 and h.265 compression, which allows to satisfy all the requirements to quality of service and make customers happy.

We offer a versatile turn-key system which can take different sources on the input: HDMI, SDI, ASI, IP.

On the output you get 1-10+ DVB-T2 MUX devices with about 16 channels in each (depends on the channels bitrate) with UHF power up to 300W per MUX (more by request). It may cover up to 35 km radius depending on how high is an antenna placed.

This is an end-to-end solution with all the equipment an operator needs to build a successful business. The system may consist of:

  1.  multi-channel encoders,
  2.  professional satellite receivers,
  3.  scramblers multiplexers,
  4. UHF modulators,
  5. UHF amplifiers,
  6. a combiner,
  7. feeders,
  8. antennas and
  9.  DVB-T2 set-top-boxes.

The scramblers may have additional DVB-S2 or 4xDVB-C and IP outputs for building a complex multi-standard broadcasting setup.

The system is based on a classic scheme with many amplifiers and a high power combiner. It allows to reach the highest signal quality without any interference between MUX devices as well as other radio systems and thus avoid the problems with a regulatory body. Also an operator doesn’t get a total switch off in case of a single amplifier failure. It is a much more reliable and flexible structure.

The subscription and rights management are performed in our CMS.

The system is simple, easy expandable and scalable. You can start from a small setup and add elements later. Though you should foresee the needed number of UHF inputs in a combiner.
