DC Injector ODCI is an outdoor-ready, weatherproof power and reference distribution unit designed for satellite communication systems requiring both BUC and LNB powering through a single RF chain. Supporting 950–1750 MHz, it provides a regulated 24±0.2 V / 2 A supply for BUCs and a stable +15 V / 0.5 A output for LNBs, enabling simultaneous powering of two key RF components in demanding field conditions.
In addition to DC injection, the DC Injector ODCI includes a 10 MHz reference passthrough with adjustable input/output levels from –5 to +5 dBm and 2.5 ppm stability, ensuring accurate synchronization for frequency-sensitive equipment. The rugged 50Ω design, VSWR ≤1.8, and compact 115×50×80 mm enclosure make it suitable for outdoor mast installations, remote VSAT terminals, broadcast uplinks, and mobile satellite platforms.
✅ Dual-output DC powering for BUC and LNB systems
The injector provides a regulated 24 V line for powering outdoor BUC units and an independent +15 V supply for LNBs, allowing full RF chain powering with a single compact device. This reduces external power modules and simplifies outdoor wiring in field installations.
✅ Integrated 10 MHz reference passthrough with ±2.5 ppm stability
The DC Injector ODCI maintains stable frequency distribution for BUCs and frequency-locked receivers, improving synchronization accuracy in satellite uplinks. This makes it suitable for applications requiring precise reference stability across varying environmental conditions.
✅ Outdoor-ready design engineered for reliability
The sealed mechanical housing withstands harsh environments, moisture, and temperature fluctuations. It is optimized for rooftop, tower-mounted, vehicle-mounted, and remote-location satellite terminals where reliability is critical.
🛠️ Designed for professional outdoor satellite infrastructure The DC Injector ODCI integrates RF, DC, and reference distribution into a compact weatherproof design suitable for deployment on masts, antennas, and backhaul nodes. Its impedance-matched 50Ω RF path ensures stable performance across 950–1750 MHz, supporting both narrowband and broadband satellite links.
🛒 Ideal for broadcast links, remote VSAT terminals and field communication systems With built-in frequency reference, dual voltage supplies, and rugged construction, the DC Injector ODCI greatly simplifies outdoor SATCOM topologies. Operators gain a unified powering solution that reduces hardware count, cuts maintenance time, and enhances RF stability.
📌 Key features
-
950–1750 MHz outdoor DC injector with low-loss RF path
Supports stable RF transmission for satellite BUC/LNB systems in field deployments. The optimized RF circuitry maintains consistent performance with VSWR ≤1.8, reducing reflections and minimizing signal degradation.
-
Regulated 24±0.2 V BUC output (up to 2 A) plus +15 V LNB feed
Provides clean, reliable power to two separate RF devices, eliminating the need for additional outdoor DC converters. This simplifies setup and improves reliability in remote antennas, mobile earth stations, and broadcast uplinks.
-
10 MHz reference signal passthrough with –5…+5 dBm level range
Ensures precise synchronization of BUCs and other frequency-dependent RF equipment. The 2.5 ppm stability contributes to long-term frequency accuracy in high-demand professional satellite networks.
-
Compact weatherproof housing 115×50×80 mm, 0.35 kg
Designed for outdoor mounting, the enclosure resists moisture, temperature variance, and mechanical stress. Its small footprint enables installation directly on antenna poles or equipment brackets.
-
50Ω RF impedance for seamless integration
Matches professional satellite RF components, ensuring stable impedance and reducing mismatch losses. This contributes to cleaner uplink power and improved modulation quality.
⚙️ Main functions
-
Power injection for BUC and LNB over a shared RF connection
The DC Injector ODCI combines power and RF paths, lowering system complexity and reducing cabling required in outdoor installations. This function enhances reliability in systems where long RF runs make separate power lines impractical.
-
Frequency reference distribution for synchronized BUC operation
The 10 MHz passthrough ensures that the connected BUC or RF module receives a stable and accurate reference, vital for minimizing LO drift and maintaining carrier integrity. In professional SATCOM environments, this improves overall uplink performance.
-
Stabilization of RF signal flow in outdoor environments
The optimized RF section ensures minimal reflection, controlled VSWR, and stable amplitude response, maintaining signal quality even during environmental variation. This is critical for maintaining reliable satellite locking and avoiding uplink degradation.
-
Providing environmental resilience for remote RF deployments
The robust mechanical design supports operation in harsh outdoor conditions, ensuring long-term reliability. This makes the injector suitable for installations where downtime is unacceptable and maintenance access is limited.
🧩 Applications
-
Outdoor VSAT installations and remote satellite terminals
The injector powers both BUC and LNB while delivering a stable 10 MHz reference, ensuring high-quality communication links in remote or mobile environments. Its weatherproof design allows continuous operation in demanding climates.
-
