The Extended Ku-band Upconverter 13.75-14.5 GHz is designed for operators who need more than the standard Ku-band uplink. Its output spans the conventional 14.0-14.5 GHz band and the additional 13.75-14.0 GHz extension, converting 950-1750 MHz IF signals with a 12.8/13.05 GHz local oscillator referenced to an external 10 MHz source.

This wider range gives flexibility in transponder selection across Ku-band satellites. The unit delivers a minimum P1dB of 10 dBm and 5-30 dB gain, runs from 10-24 VDC at less than 9 W, and fits a 115x120x38 mm IP54 indoor enclosure weighing up to 0.95 kg.

The Extended Ku-band Upconverter 13.75-14.5 GHz converts 950-1750 MHz IF signals into the 13.75-14.5 GHz Ku-band uplink. By covering both the standard 14.0-14.5 GHz band and the 13.75-14.0 GHz extension, it lets one converter model serve transponders across the full extended Ku-band.

Frequency translation is performed by a 12.8/13.05 GHz local oscillator locked to an external 10 MHz reference. The output provides a minimum P1dB of 10 dBm and 5-30 dB gain, with ±1 dB full-band flatness and ±0.4 dB flatness over 40 MHz.

Linearity and spectral cleanliness are specified as IMD3 -30 dBc max, spurious -60 dBc max @P1dB and LO leakage -75 dBm without signal. The IP54 indoor enclosure with N-type input and N-type female output is ready for rack or shelter integration.

✅ Standard and extended Ku-band in one unit

One converter covers 14.0-14.5 GHz and the 13.75-14.0 GHz extension, simplifying spares management and network planning.

✅ Flexible transponder selection

The wide 13.75-14.5 GHz output range gives freedom to move carriers between transponders without changing the converter type.

✅ Wide 950-1750 MHz IF input

The extended IF range matches the wider output band, so modulators can be tuned across the whole extended Ku-band uplink.
🛠️ Whether you operate Ku-band VSAT hubs, teleport uplinks or SNG and contribution links, the Extended Ku-band Upconverter 13.75-14.5 GHz covers the complete extended Ku-band in a single compact unit.
