0.2 W Ku-band block up-converter with LO of 9.75 GHz BUC-Ku002-9.75 v2 is designed for MVDS TV broadcasting systems application in accordance with DVB-S/S2 or DVB-C standards (use “Customized” button to choose needed parameters) and operates with up to 25 carriers. BUC-Ku002-9.75 v2 has output flange of PBR120 type and can be used with regular radio-relay link (directional) or broadcast (sector and OMNI) antennas. BUC-Ku002-9.75 v2 supports all modulation types up to 32APSK and 256QAM (you may choose the modulation type while filling the “customized equipment” form). BUC-Ku002-9.75 v2 has the best linearity parameters to ensure the stability of the output frequency and low IMD3 level (these parameters are very important for high quality modulation, therefore the local oscillator of BUC-Ku002-9.75 v2 is locked by PLL with internal frequency reference). BUC-Ku002-9.75 v2 provides 10.7 – 11.7 GHz output frequency range (bandwidth in Ku-band) for 950-1950 MHz input frequency range (bandwidth in L-band).

As a compact Ku-band BUC transmitter, it features a fixed 9.75 GHz PLL local oscillator that delivers high frequency stability and low phase noise for clean carriers and consistent EVM. This solid-state Ku-band outdoor BUC integrates an internal 10 MHz reference, simplifying timing and improving long-term stability for DVB-S2 headend workflows and TV repeater station links.

This Ku-band Block Upconverter 0.2W v2.0 provides a minimum 0.2 W output power @ P1dB with ≥45 dB gain and ALC (25 dB dynamic range, 30 mW ALC level) for automatic output leveling and protection of the transmit chain. The phase-locked LO (±2 ppm) achieves low phase noise (−80 dBc/Hz @1 kHz, −85 dBc/Hz @10 kHz, −100 dBc/Hz @100 kHz), supporting high-linearity Ku-band BUC operation with DVB-S2 32APSK and 256QAM.
